Few hours in AMS

hola!

Few weeks ago I changed flights at Schiphol, but since there was an eight hours gap between them I took the train to AMS and spent few hours in our "Erasmus town", time enough to see my beloved 2nd semester roommate who is still living there (he even speaks some Dutch!) and to check that Rembrandtplein has been renovated, as you can see below.

Be sure I had you all in mind...

Sarphati 7

Hi Guys,

I know its been a looooooooooooooooong time since i wrote up here but i was going through my old email and saw a bunch of old photos and emails between us, making plans for different birthdays, trips, sarphati awards, (pictures from grandma's place ---HAHA) etc....

But there was one email that Hector had sent out when 7 of us got into trouble, and he named us the Sarphati 7. I was reading the email in class and all of the sudden i burst into laughter......i got into trouble for it with my professor but it put me in a really god mood. And made me realize hoe much i miss you guys.

There's nothing special going on here....work and school like always. I do graduate in may though, so i'm really excited.

I'll post some pictures and more news in a little bit. But just know I miss you all so much.....and love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Kisses
Mahsa :)

Amsterdam Revival and some news

Hello family!

How R U¿

Almost one year , that we were saying good bye to each other in Amsterdam.Amazing how the time flys.

Some of us were really lucky to revive Amsterdam and Queen's day. We haven't wrote anything about it yet.Except the misterious person who posted the picture , who I bet is Hector lol.

So as you may know 10 of us went to Amsterdam the 29th April and stayed in Sarah's place.Even if it was not too comfortable , specially to share the bathroom among so many people, it was really funny to be living together "again".Sarah thank you sooo much for your hospitality!!!!!!!!
And of course we had some funny adventures...
For example the flush broke up and during 3 days( because it was holiday) , we had to "flush"with a water cube...Also,the day after queen's day we decide to make 2 spares keys , in order to be more independent ...It was really useful, specially when Chimo Joan Faus, Mario Sarah and I forgot the sarah's keys and one spare inside and got stuck in Molukenstraat for 3 hours. Then Moflo came so quick that he forgot to bring the keys, so we had to wait for Hector a bit more, and, when he arrived , to continue with our good luck , he realized he took his work keys instead of sarah's place spare ones!!Unbelievable! So all the keys were in Sarah's!!We tried several ways to open the door, even sarah's neighboor helped and finnally I had to climb to sarah's through sarah's neighboor balcony and could get inside!really funny though...
To sum up , it was a really nice experience, even though it was weird because we were not all of us , because we were not staying in Sarphati , because we were riding Mac Bikes, etc.

Still, I have to admit that it was really nice to be there again and even if it's never gonna be the same , I know I'll always feel good in Amsterdam ,like at home, and will always be pleased to go there, riding in those streets with all those souvenirs coming up to my mind...

After Amsterdam I went to Paris to visit friends and family and I met Robin ( Again!;)).It was really nice to see you there !!!I went out in a club with some friends and Robin came with friends too! I actually spend a very good time! thanks for comin'!btw, thanks god I was there also, otherwise u would have finished the night in a crappy bar lol.Such a beautiful city that u live into.
Unfortunately Julie was in Toulouse so I couldn't see her!:(

I f u wanna understand what the hell is doing Robin ask him!!I have no idea!!!hahahahah

Hope u guys are doing well!!! Hope u have great plans for the summer!!

keep in touch!!!lots of hugs and kisses

Brussels

Hey, people!! How are you??

This time I felt like writing because last weekend I was in Brussels and I happened to pass by some places that brought me back memories from the previous time I had been there with many of you... don't you remember the first Sarphati trip to Bruges and Brussels?? Don't you remember your 'White Night'?? .

Being again in the beautiful Grand Place / Grote Markt reminded me how we began the 'White Night': everybody sitting on the floor gathered around the drinks. Later, I got lost with two Sarphati people and we ended up in a old-fashioned bar with an old jukebox... yeah, this time I paid a visit to it too. That night, I didn't joined the group until dawn, when we were all supposed to meet us in the left luggage office of the train station; where I found you sleeping on the floor leaning to each other... yeah, this time I also paid a visit to the lockers (but nobody was sleeping there :D). However, this time I neither take the sightseeing bus nor I had a beer in Delirium Café... .

If just Brussels brought me back so many memories I cannot imagine how it's going to be to get back to AMS again... I'm looking forward to it so much! :) ...I hope to see you there! :)
